4 Ways to Mobilize Your Youth Group for Gospel Outreach

Imagine what could happen if your youth group was a part of a nationwide movement of students sharing the gospel with their peers. Sounds pretty awesome, right? But we get it. The reality is that you want to see ALL your students (public school, private, and homeschool) make a kingdom impact, and you don’t have a lot of time to make it happen since you're already running a great discipleship program for your youth group. You need something simple and doable that actually works.

But what if...

  • We give you everything you need.
  • You or one of your students challenge your youth group with the action steps below.
  • God gets the glory when your students are mobilized for gospel impact --alongside hundreds of other students in the Meant for More Movement across the nation!

Check out these Meant for More Movement actions you can take with your youth group during each season to help them make an impact for the gospel!

1) Host a Meant for More Night

This summer, challenge your youth group to host a Meant for More Night at your church to reach lost students in your city with the gospel. At the same time, you'll be helping your students catch a vision of what it could look like to lead a similar outreach event on their school campus. Get everything you need to make it happen by downloading your free church kit!

2) Pray 5 Challenge & See You at the Pole

Start the school year off right with prayer! Between See You At The Pole and the Pray 5 Challenge, your students will be praying for their family, friends, administration, country, and anything else the Lord puts on their heart. Pray5 is a super easy way to introduce students to evangelism and help them take the practical first step. What does it take? Students pick five people in their life and commit to praying daily for the opportunity to share the gospel with them. This challenge gets students connecting regularly with God in prayer, and tees them up to see Him move in mighty ways. After your students watch the Pray 5 video, you can also share our "Witnessing: Why?" and "Witnessing: How?" videos with your students for further study.

3) LifeBook
Challenge

LifeBooks are an incredible FREE resource that churches and pastors can order and give to their youth group to hand out at school. What is a LifeBook? It contains a short recap of the Old Testament, the entire Gospel of Mark (ESV), scriptural answers to issues teens face, and an opportunity to trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Learn more and request your free Life Books today at thelifebook.com.

4) Empower Your Students to Lead a Meant for More Week

Challenge your youth group to join the nationwide movement of students just like them who are sharing the gospel on their public school campuses through the Meant for More Movement! Check out the video below to learn more about what a Meant for More Week looks like, and head to MeantforMore.Org to view our library of free resources specifically designed to help your students start this journey.
