Pray for laborers!

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;
therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Matthew 9:37-38

Staff Positions to pray for

Campus Ministry Leadership Roles
Campus Ministry Staff develop and empower leaders and students to live out the great commission on their campuses. One staff can have an impact at 10-25 high schools! There’s great need on both our California and Illinois campus ministry teams.

California

  • Biola Area: As the university we originally recruited from and partnered with, this is still one of our largest teams and areas of ministry, and we’re excited to see it continue to grow!

  • Inland Empire: East of Los Angeles, the Inland Empire covers two of California’s largest counties. Spread throughout that large expanse, eager students at hundreds of schools are wanting our help, which means we need more laborers to reach and care for them!

  • San Gabriel Valley: Stretching from west of Pasadena and east to Pomona, dozens of schools and thousands of students need to meet Jesus.

  • San Jose: One of the most unchurched regions of our country, students of the Silicon Valley desperately need the gospel. We are thrilled to have one full time staff on the ground there, but know we need more to reach the area!

  • South Bay: Located in the southwest part of Los Angeles, the South Bay has an incredible community of students who are excited about reaching their peers. We’d love to send a staff member their way!

Illinois

  • Moody Bible Institute Area: Moody started this school over 100 years ago to reach the inner city, and we want to be a part of that by reaching the schools in that area!

  • TIU Area: Northwest of Chicago, we develop mentors out of Trinity International University to reach the schools in the surrounding cities.

  • Wheaton Area: Wheaton College has a legacy of equipping powerful evangelists, and we get to be a part of that as we help a team of their students reach local high schools.

  • Southwest Suburbs of Chicago: While we have really strong church partners asking for our help in reaching schools, we’ve yet to officially partner with any university in the area. We need someone to take one that work.

  • Distance Ministry: Throughout the course of our ministry, the Lord has continued to open doors to minister in new regions. We need someone to lead the charge in sending teams to and establishing quality ministry in those new areas.

New Areas

As the Lord opens to us ministry opportunities in new areas, we are eager to send capable visionaries to lead the charge in those cities.

Here are a few we’re praying into:

  • Dallas, TX

  • Denver, CO

  • Tucson, AZ

Operational Leadership Roles

  • Banquet Coordinator (Development): Banquets are our biggest fundraisers of the year and they help raise a large percentage of our budget. Therefore we need someone who is thorough, logistical, and relational to oversee banquet logistics and mobilize our supporters.

  • Development Coordinator: Know someone who would enjoy communicating with donors, writing grant proposals, and collaborating on fundraising events, all for the sake of raising funds for this mission? Send them our way!

  • Director of Finance: Working out of or Wheaton office, this person will enable NSP’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet their objectives by managing and analyzing everyday financial activities and providing advice and guidance on future financial plans.

  • Human Resources Assistant: Caring for and supporting our team of full time staff, part-time leaders, and nearly 200 volunteers is a big job. Pray that God will send people who are good communicators and great with administrative details so our team can focus on the work of ministry.

  • Mobilization Director: The Mobilization team works to screen candidates, recruit amazing people, and onboard those that God has led to join this mission. To carry out the mission, we’re trusting God to bring a lot of people to our team and the mobilization team will help them get here.

  • IT Coordinator: NSP is about relationships, not technology, but the right technology helps us focus on gospel relationships and spend less time on paperwork. The IT coordinator will help keep our systems running and build new ones so the gospel can go deeper into high schools.

  • Communications Director: We have a lot of mind-blowing, God-honoring stories of the work God is doing in NSP, and we need someone who loves writing and working with people to lead the charge in communicating those stories.

  • Communications Coordinator: In this writing-based role, this person will be NSP’s primary reporter and story teller, communicating the incredible impact the Lord is making on the campuses with whom we partner.

  • Design Coordinator: Driving forward powerful communication, this person will design content, layout stories, and constantly innovate new ways to clearly present to the world the opportunities for student-led, church-supported campus awakening to the love of Christ.

  • Media Coordinator: Through the medium of film and photography, this person will have the mission of telling the stories of what God is doing through our ministry in a way that gives God glory and motivates His people to praise Him and join the mission. Positions opening in both California and Illinois.

  • Events and Administrative Coordinator: Training hundreds of students, volunteers, and staff means that we end up having many events throughout the year. In order to execute those with excellence we need people who can focus on the many details that go into each event. We have multiple openings in California as well as one in Illinois.
