A story of David - a student saved and now being sent
David is a deaf student near Dallas, Texas. This May, David attended a Meant for More outreach where he heard the gospel. Prior to then, David said, “I felt lonely and confused...I didn’t understand who God was. I just felt like I did not belong.”
Soon David decided to follow Christ. “I want to follow Jesus because He loved and was patient with me,” he said. “I had never experienced happiness before and it is so amazing!”
David was baptized this summer and was immediately burdened to tell others about Christ. Within months of coming to faith, David led a deaf student named Michaella to the Lord! He has joined his school’s Christian club and is excited to help with their outreaches this year. “Sadly some deaf people don’t know about God...I want to tell my experience about God so maybe they can be saved too.”
