Student Stories
Be encouraged by how God is moving through Christian students across the nation through these specific stories of lives impacted by the gospel!
Natalie's Story
Natalie is a leader Decision Point is privileged to equip in Tucson, Arizona. She is a leader at one of the 100 schools we helped launch ministry in this semester because of partners like you.
Natalie found herself in hostile territory when she began to share the gospel at her school. After launching a Christian club with two other friends, she immediately faced backlash from classmates and teachers alike.
A large group of students even launched a Satanist Club in response!
Two weeks after putting up posters about their Christian club, teachers went around taking them down, saying posters could only stay up for two weeks. Natalie was also told that their posters couldn’t contain Christian content such as Bible verses, which is a complete violation of their rights.
The Satanist Club, however, was held to a different standard.
When the Satanist Club had put up posters for their club, Natalie and her friends couldn’t help but notice that those posters stayed up for two months.
And when the Satanist Club put up posters containing an outline of their seven core beliefs, those posters stayed up as well. (actual poster pictured)

Natalie’s team also had Bibles and tracts confiscated by school authorities. When one of Natalie’s friends brought a box of Bibles, tracts and other giveaway items for an upcoming outreach, they were told that these materials were “not allowed,” and the box was confiscated. Later when they went to get the box for the event, they discovered it had been thrown away!
However, God has not left Natalie and her friends to stand alone.
Through all this, they have stayed firm in their convictions and in staying the course. And in their faithfulness, God has given them opportunities to reach other students with the gospel.
One of these students is named Taylor*, who was a self-proclaimed Satanist.
One day, while at the mall next to the school meeting with her Decision Point coach, Bree Loveland, Natalie and her friends ran into Taylor. Taylor stayed about an hour with them as they shared the gospel with him!
Bree later told us, “After that day, Taylor stopped attending the Satanist Club at school and started attending the Christian club! He told Natalie that he was no longer a satanist…He’s even gone to a club leader’s youth group a handful of times to learn more!"
Natalie shared with us last week, “Before this semester, I wasn’t very vocal about my faith. But since attending [Decision Point’s] Student Leader Conference and getting coaching, I’ve realized that by being a Christian club leader, I’m giving people a picture of Christ."
In two weeks, Natalie and her friends are planning a Christmas outreach where they plan to invite their whole school to attend.
