Kristine Calhan
With her teenage/adult children growing and becoming more independent and her oldest leaving for college, this left Kristine entering a new chapter of life. She started praying for the Lord to open doors and lead her to where she can do meaningful work and use her talents while serving the Lord. The Lord heard her prayers and lead her right to the National School Project. Kristine and her husband Michael met in college at Southern Illinois University and now live in Crystal Lake Illinois with their three grown teenagers, Hallie, Cameron and Anna. Together as a family they enjoy traveling, an active lifestyle and great food! Outside of the everyday joys of family life and work, Kristine has the honor and blessing of sharing her love of running by guiding visually impaired runners through 5K’s, half and full marathons.
